While not legal evidence it is an important tool for employers and employees alike.

Since asbestos related illnesses including mesothelioma and other forms of cancer may not become evident for 10-20 years after exposure, it is important to consult with an attorney if you worked in any of the high-risk work environments identified historically or currently as using asbestos.
